Just getting into radio after years in the IT industry.
Currently working in the GPS tracking industry using the Mobile Phone network and SIM cards.
After I work my way through the licence training I want to be able to track my vehicle via HF when I am outside of normal mobile phone range.

Hi Alan,
Welcome to the forum.
It sounds very interesting what you're doing with the tracking and I have been looking into some sort of APRS app on the iPhone as I think that would be so cool... The iPhone already has GPS built in and google maps so I would have thought it possible but as of yet not found anything...
