The MK2 is a nice radio indeed. How do you tell MK2? Well you can see the display from a number of angles.
Mods to 25-28 mhz and does 8 watts. Nice radio indeed

I have the MK1 here... The display is blue on my radio but with black writing. It new one is in white (above).
It's great if you only use 80ch and you have a spare din socket it the car. Fits in really neat. Mine is in the cupboard at the moment.
Mine didn't work with my Astatic D104 M6B power mic. Prob something to do with the new board's they use.
The mic that came with it is nice and small. Up Down and bleep buttons on the mic...
