G5RV-PLUS Radio Works 80-10m + WARC
Anyone used one?

Seams an ok price as it comes with a Balun. Quality looks good and the write up sounds great.

Re: G5RV-PLUS Radio Works 80-10m + WARC
The G5RV has been taken apart and made with better copper wire what I got from the rally in Blackpool. I just have to wait to try it out.
I have used plastic blocks to connect the wire to the ladder line and that's about it. If it works ok I will think of some other way of connecting the wire to the ladder line.
One thing for sure I will now enjoy setting up and taking the setup down as its a lot easier to roll up and not kink or knot!!!

Hi i would be interested to know how the windom compares to the G5 for recieve, if you could let me know would appreciate it. I have only ever used the G5 (100ft version) mounted 30ft off the ground but have been tempted with a windom.
