Llandudno Radio Rally 1st - 2nd November

North Wales Amateur Radio Rally & Computer Fair Date 1st & 2nd of November 2008..

The fair will be accompanied by 150+ tables & the usual bring & buy this year will see North Wales very own auction table, which has many items to auction.. The usual emporiums will be attending..

Not long now. Looking forward to it. Who is going?

I am going both days, Sat I think I am taking 2W0BLH Kevin and plan to be there for 12 for an hour or so. Sunday I am going about 12 - 16.00 as the Ex is going to her Mums.

The rally was good but lacking customers and some more traders would have been nice.

The location was very good for the rally as it has huge on-site carpark and the cadets did a very good job.

The halls were pleanty big enough with a Club room and the Trader hall. The club room had the RSGB stand, UKFM Repeater group stand and other smaller traders.

The Trader hall had Waters & Stanton at one end with Radio World along the opersite wall. Moonraker had a big stall and Van Draper had a few tables along with RS. Sandpiper didn't make it to the rally which was a shame as they had a huge area in the middle of the hall. I think if they had of been there it would have given a better impression on the rally and made it look packed...

I went both days and I hope they put another one on next year for us in the N West.
