I would like some info on the tranceiver President Georges.
To follow up buying.

Nice radio Pascal, good rx and also tx. The trouble is when in the export mode the radio will not make for example 27547 as it can just make 5kc steps 540,545,550 otherwise have been happy with mine, and does work well indeed

I think thats gonna be my Radio of choice.

Looks better than the Lincoln IMHO however I may be swayed if there are horror stories out there.

Sure with all radios there are horror stories, as one mans gold is another mans bronze. Trouble is now there are no new ones around as they failed the rOHs tests and have harful substances in the materials they are made of, and there is not any replacement on the cards.
To find one that is not doctored is also sometimes difficult too.

Ranger 2950DX comes out well, and have continuous tuning which helps sometimes, and why just stick to the 5 or 0 ending when you can have all?

Goodluck with the search tho, they are a radio that was well ahead of its time when it came onto the market and was indeed the very first multi eu norm radio
