Yaesu FT-857D

I recently acquired a, as new, FT857D. I have had it's smaller brother the
FT817 for a couple of years & often use it's bigger brother the FT897, so I knew it well even before I had one.
These wonderful little rigs are easily opened & have a great yahoo owners group.

In the past few months we have logged several new countries & had some very good reports on both local FM & DX for audio.
Any other owners ?

i have recently sold my 857D For £300, sombodies got themselves a s nice little bargain as it was 8 months old and boxed and came with keypad too !

Like them a lot, but really i think somehow the 897d is a better one, thats a small but very humble opinion
