INTEK H-520 PLUS EXTERNAL SPEAKER MIC?

Hi ive just bought a intek 520 handheld and im wanting a speaker mic for it but i know it uses a 3.5 and 2.5mm plug but what i dont know is if it uses the sterio pins or mono pins or doesnt it matter Question
