WWDC 2011

I have not been on the forum for quite some time to post and knowing this is a Radio Forum I am going a little off topic on this one.

As most of you who are Apple Fans will know what WWDC is and stands for. WWDC
is Apples Worldwide Development Conference and it's held yearly. I first noticed it 4 years ago when I was interested in the first Apple mobile phone. Well what an impressive few years Apple has had and there seems to be no slowing down.

The iPad 2 was released in March and I am still trying to get my hands on it. I should have been ready and waited in the queue on release day like I did for the iPhone 4. What a pleasant night that was.

Anyway like the subject suggests, its that time again. Will there be a new iPhone 5? Hmm I don't think so but like always Apple keeps things very secretive. Why I may hear you asking? Well there isn't a real competitor on the market to beat the iPhone 4 and as they have just managed to ship the White iPhone 4 I can't see how or why they would release a new phone os soon. But I could be wrong...

The Developer Conference is more likely to concentrate on OS or iOS as it used to be. Yep - OS 5 is due also. In previous releases OS updates has seen the iPhone gain MMS, Cut, Copy and Paste and evenMultitasking. So what can we expect from OS 5? I have NO IDEA.

I can see Apple bringing out a big update for MobileMe which may result in a name change Cloud. The new Cloud is probably a remote storage centre for Photos and Music meaning every OS Device will have the ability to connect giving customers more freedom and control of their music.

I really am looking forward to this if possible because my MacBook is 4 years old and knowing all the purchased music will be stored on a Server in Apples NEW Data Centre will be a weight off my mind. I hope Apps and Photos will have the same ability but that is probably my mind going into overtime, or dreaming....

Anyway we only have to wait until the 6th June to find out. :-)
