Hello
Hi All,
I am an ex. RN radio operator (many years ago) I used to get on the air on CW and am at present a SWL. My equipment is a Yaesu FT-107M and I have recently acquired a pair of Binatone Terrain 550 PMR's.
My current QTH is Mid Glamorgan 20 miles west of Cardiff where I have lived for the past 11 years.

Hello :: Comments

Welcome along Mr Woo. I'm licenced, but spend more time SWL'ing than on the amateur bands.
I can highly recommend The British DX Club if you want to keep up to date with whats happening

My very first amateur radio experience was talking to a spark on what I was told was a navel vessel in the Atlantic whilst at School. The military op just gave his position as North Atlantic & his callsign was I was told not conventional. That was 1975.
I have just been brought an Eaton GŁ Globe Traveller as a early Wedding Annerversay present & I have various amateur gear & a old Trio QR666.
