hi all new to the forum i need a cb radio in my taxi i am looking at the cobra 19dx any comments on this rig and is it any good.Your comments would be grately appreciated,also if not the cobra are the midlands any good someone said that there latest ones are not so good.

Cobra is small, made in China by Bond Telekom and works well for the price that it is. No bells and whistles, just a budget radio that works as the cost would dictate

I think that Cobra is quite good radio, but there is few other options also... example: President Harry 1,2 or 3, these radios are quite compact packages! But they ain`t cheapiest radios though... Rolling Eyes

Depends what you want it for, if your not gonna use the mid band get a cheap ukfm set same size as the 19 but lots cheaper, no point having channels your not gonna use, from experience there isn't a lot of activity in plymouth, maybe one or two channels used. most taxis stick to one.
