Hello to all;
Yet another newbie here currently studying for m6 licence sometime in Jan/Feb and hope to catch u all on air soon.
Started off in cb radio and enjoy using computers so hope to combine them both and have fun in doing so.

Welcome to the site & good luck with the exam. I don't know how much you know about amateur radio but there are lots of oppertunities to combine PC's & radio.
Digital modes like Slow Scan TV, PSK31, wisper etc need PC's to use. Modes like D-Star & Echolink are more PC than radio & things like APRS link GPS & radio together are a few options.

cheers for that, ive herd or psk31 and slow scan tv and will be looking more into them once i get through the first exam 
hopefully i should pass ok as done couple of hamtests online with success but like most things there is allways something new to learn.

Well Pased the foundation on Thursday and got some simple answers wrong
