Web hosting

Anyone know of a reasonable & cheapish web hosting site? The sort of place that have site building & domain names at sensible prices would be good.
I have a few freebie presences on the net. But I want to set up a better site.
I have seen a couple that look fairly reasonable, but I don't want to give credit card details out to a company I know nothing about.

I used to use http://www.create.net/features.phtml which was one of the best apart from iWeb for Apple.

I used to use freewebs too which is a great starting point, not sure how advanced you wanna take it?

Thanks, I use to have a VERY simple site that I paid a few pounds per year for, but they stopped doing personal sites, so I let it drop.
I just want a small site that I can build & put radio related stuff on.

You can create a freewebs site for free. I think you have banners and adds on the pages bu for a small fee you can get them removed. The create one I used was £4.99 a month but it gave great benefits.
