REM Island will be moved to Amsterdam next spring

The old Radio & TV Nordzee base is now due to be moved to Amsterdam next spring it has been announced.
The intention had been to move it this year, but the restoration of the Irish built platform has not been completed & with the winter approaching it cannot now be safely moved until spring.
