End fed Ae
Looking at Snowdonia Radio Coy for the 9:1 end fed HF for the holidays.
It comes with the radiator (wire) already cut.
Am I right in assuming I will need some sort of tuner to make this work on my preferred band?
Or is there a freq calculator out there? I have been looking for ages and cant find nothing.
Cheers for the help.

Re: End fed Ae
Ah just found Simons tape measure post.
It seems 7.6m will give you 5/8 Ae.
Thread can now be deleted, unless I have missed a trick!
Cheers.

Re: End fed Ae
What do you want a CB antenna, or an amateur bands antenna, optimised for performance on your "preferred band" ?
