Nice radio indeed, easy to mod and works like hell. Spoke with Mick from here in not the best conditions, on the down side it does really like to eat the batteries

I've just bought one of those. Very sensitive receiver and the aerial is remarkably efficient!

Decent radios, if you buy a good set of batteries they last quite a while, handheld-to-handheld i found them quite poor, especially in built up areas!

The RX is great and the sound is of good quality, not sure the extra frequency mod is something that is necessary because the radio already has enough dead frequencies, plus it voids your warranty.
