Re: cb radio
Tried another microphone ?
Does the radio have a PA function, maybe switch to that and see if you can hear your own audio with the mic you are using, and another microphone ?

Re: cb radio
I don't know anything about CB's, but if this a problem on all modes, then it's a circuit board issue.

Re: cb radio
My radio prodding days are long gone, is the fault solid, ie the radio from cold shows the same fault after its been on for a bit.
I'd recommend asking over on the Transmission1 forums to be honest as there are people on there that may be better placed to assist.

Re: cb radio
Maybe it has a dodgy connection between the mike socket and the circuit board. Possibly a dry solder joint?
I take it most of the components inside are surface mount, is there any evidence of any of them having fallen off the board, as this can happen is they haven't been soldered on properly when the rig was built.
