Hi All!
I just stumbled across QSO UK and took a good look around, I liked what I see so decided to join-in the chat.
My name is Graham and I have been involved in the radio hobby since schooldays when I was 8yrs old (that would have been in 1951), yes I guess I qualify as an 'Elmer' at age 66.
Over the years I have been licenced in Aden, Kenya, Pakistan, UK, Singapore, Germany, Cyprus and the USA; now finally settled back in the UK at 'io81rm'. I use the hobby to maintain contact with many friends around the world working many of them mobile (while travelling in my job), but as I am about to retire, I will be doing more 'static working.
I look forward to some interesting and useful discussion here in the future

I use to spend many a hour driving down your way for a 4am delivery before heading over to Avonmouth & then up to Cheltenham.

Thanks for the welcome folks. Ex-forces Moi? That could be the cause. Duh! I just thought I kept getting in the wrong line at the airport
