watch out if yor selling stuff on ebay ! got this this morning

We appreciate that you chose eBay to list the following item:

270531552250 - NEW FORMAC 88 CB RADIO
270531551323 - NEW FORMAC 88 CB RADIO

Unfortunately, your listing violated our policy. This item has not been removed from eBay, but we wanted to bring this to your attention because future violations could result in listing removal as well as limits on selling privileges.

The following information violates our policy:

You stated that "listed elsewhere for sale so i have the right to remove " which is not allowed on eBay.

You included terms in your listing that aren't allowed by our user agreement. Here are some examples of things that aren't allowed:



- Reserving the right to cancel the listing at any time, for any reason.

- Saying that the item is also for sale at the same time off eBay (e.g. local market)

- Stating that the item was in stock at the time of listing but that it may be out of stock at the time of purchase.

- Indicating that the item listed may not be the one that the winning bidder receives.

Hmmmmm I can think of one well known Amateur Radio retailer with a shop in Essex that has got away with this despite complaints, so maybe these rules only effects non commercial retailers.
