On the radio 16/07/09

I'm out making use of my week off work due to sickness and am playing on the radio from the car on Halkyn Mountain. You can find me on 20m mainly and VHF/UHF using the sota beam.

I'll post what freq once setup.

Where did you manage to get then Dave in the end? Anything interesting on the band at all

Hi Simon,

I made a few contacts in the morning but mainly played on 2m FM with the 3el SOTA Beam SB270. Ended up packing up early as I was playing radio out of the car and the heavens opened... hmm why aint the FT-857D not waterproof :-) lol...
