got back from southport today to find my G5RV on the floor 
looks like the tie at the house end has snapped this means getting hold of a ladder,if it would have been the other end it would have been easy because it is mounted to my tilt over mast.

Oh dear Andy, if you want a hand with it one evening I'll come up with my ladders. I'm looking forward to speaking to Phil on the air and I wonder if we can get Kevin an M6? Hmmm :-)

no longer pee'd off.dave came around last night with his ladders and some steel cable and we put up my g5rv so i am back on hf.thanks again dave
