I'm very interrested in this one and i hope this one works better then the Albrecht AE6890.

			<description>I am planning on purchasing a new base station antenna in the near future and would like a few opinions.

 

I haven't got much to spend so I am looking at 1/2 wave and 5/8 wave Hi-gain silver rod type antennas.

 

Is there a massive difference in performance between 1/5 and 5/8 wave designs? I had a 1/2 wave Silver rod many years ago (17 to be exact) and was quite happy with it, but this time I fancy something a bit different.

			<description>Well I've just purchased one of these as a birthday treat to myself, and the seller was telling me that this model has 160 channels on a 4 way band switch, maybe I misunderstood with my bad Dutch but the online photo seemed to suggest that there was indeed a 4 way band switch.

 

I've owned Colt Excalliburs and Jumbos in the past with 3 way band switches but never 4 way,  I'm just wondering if this model is the same as the Jumbo 3 that did more than 120 channels ???

Well this is how you milk something. In the old days, this Harry II clone had the black jumper in another position and so made just the normal German channels. And now, they moved the jumper to allow it the same channels as the Harry II so does UK,PL,DE,EC,EU and then call it the e version for Europe. Lost the plot i tell you, man the same old crab with a jumper in another place. Guideline prices are between 140-190 euros </description>
