26WF183, Phils the name, old time CBer (since 1974 AM) worked most countries DX over the years via 27.555 usb or the 26.285 usb overspill channel in the older days when we had good sunspot act. well fingers crossed it will get better.
Setting up again as being older with more time to spare, came across the group looking for advice on a little switch mode Watson power-mite-nf 22amp psu, anybody who has one could easily answer my posted question in the specific equipment section by poping off the top cover and taking a peek at the dc output conection cables going to the back...

    Hi Folks,

Just a quickie introduction and a potted bio.

My name is Elizabeth but I'm known to most people as Lissa - dates back to when a company I worked for had 3 Elizabeths so one became Liz, the second was Beth and I settled for Lissa. I also have a nickname of "Duchess" as a result of my efforts in doing Victorian re-enactment stuff and "Queen Victoria" bestowed the title of "Duchess of Woking" on me.

I first got interested in radio when I was a teenager, although...

Over the years I have been licenced in Aden, Kenya, Pakistan, UK, Singapore, Germany, Cyprus and the USA; now finally settled back in the UK at 'io81rm'. I use the hobby to maintain contact with many friends around the world working many of them mobile (while travelling in my job),...

Joined some time ago but never posted much. However I will try and rectify this in the near future. A quick update, The President Lincoln has gone in favour of a Kenwood TS-450S. I've had two Lincoln's now, just can't get on with them. Now just need the weather and conditions to improve.

Will try and post more, honest

I am new to this group. I just got me a Emperor TS-5010 radio. I do not know much about this radio and i sure hope i did not make a mistake in buying it. It is used that i got it off of ebay. I paid a total of 203.00 for it. I have not gotten it yet, but i sure would like to know more about it. So if anyone has this radio or has used it in the past, i would like to know what you think about it.

Just getting into radio after years in the IT industry.

Currently working in the GPS tracking industry using the Mobile Phone network and SIM cards.
